
On Saturday, Dec 15 2018 at 10:30 AM, at the NH Veterans Home in Tilton, NH, a detail from James E. Coffey Post 3, American Legion, held an initiation ceremony for resident Paul A. Tilden. Under the American Legion, Dept. of NH "Adopt-A-Vet" program, Paul was initiated as a new legionnaire and a new member of the James E. Coffey Post 3, Nashua.
Paul was born on Dec 21, 1923 in Haverhill, MA. He graduated high school and had some college education. He served in the Army Air Corp from Feb 1943 through Oct 1945 as a bomb site mechanic. Paul has been married to wife Barbara for 48 years. He is a retired supervisor, has enjoyed scuba diving, mountain climbing, skiing and touring the country. Now at 94 he enjoys word search and conversation.
