In the early morning hours of Jan 9th, 2018 a frozen water pipe burst in the wall above the lounge stage at the Post 3 home on 11 Court St.  The water gushed out for hours shooting across the room as far as the bar area.  The recently renovated lounge walls and floors were flooded and the water drained down to the lower floor flooding the entire space and damaging the ceilings, walls and floors in the downstairs function hall and restrooms. Service Experts was hired to do the water mitigation, demolition, clean-up and restoration. An insurance claim was placed with the post's insurance carrier, Lloyd's of London.  The insurance company estimated the damages including water mitigation costs at $43,151.00 which the post used to pay for repairs.  Repairs were completed by February 4th.
