Despite bitter cold temperatures on Saturday morning, Nov. 11th, members of the DAV Chapter 11, VFW Post 483 and American Legion Post 3, participated in wreath laying ceremonies at Nashua Veterans memorials.  Wreaths were placed at the WWI and Korean memorials located at city hall on Main Street; Deschenes Oval at Railroad Square; the Soldiers and Sailors Civil War monument at Main and Concord Streets; and the Vietnam War memorial at Memorial Park on Ledge Street.  The detail, headed by the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 11 (Commander Paul Boore and Vice Commander Gerard Bosse), the lead division in the Veterans Day parade, said a prayer at each location followed by the laying of the wreath, a rifle salute and finally, the playing of taps by the bugler.
The photos shows the wreath being placed at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
