On May 19th and 20th a delegation from post 3 attended the 99th NH Dept. convention in Lincoln, NH. The post 3 delegates were: Commander, John York, Senior Vice, Bob Courtemanche, Jr. Vice, Don Vincent, Treasurer, Barney Barbera. Attending for Auxiliary Unit 3 were Secretary, Barbara Courtemanche and member, Kathleen Vincent. Don and Kathy Vincent and Barney Barbera arrived at the Green Village cabins on Thursday afternoon the 18th. That evening around 9 PM they experienced a violent thunderstorm complete with hail that lasted about an hour.
On Friday morning, the Dept of New Hampshire presented Nashua police officer, Justin Pearse, the American Legion Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award. (photo)
