As a result of administrative and accounting disagreements between the Executive Committee of Post 3 and Steve Hernandez, the business manager of the Legion teams in early spring, Coffey Post will not be sponsoring the Legion teams in 2013. Hernandez and the coaches decided to walk away. Hernandez held discussions with Gary Webster and Rick Harvey who are both state and Hudson Post 48 officials. Post 48 agreed to host both the Nashua teams without giving any financial support. The team uniforms will just say Nashua of the front of the jerseys.
Coffey Post officials were not officially informed by the manager that the team was leaving. Post 3 claimed that the team was not accounting to them how the funds donated by the post were being spent. Hernandez also disagreed with the Coffey Post wanting to charge a registration fee to the players.
