James E. Coffey Post 3 received a surprise from Iraq at its October regular monthly meeting when one of its members, who was home on two-week leave, stopped by to attend the meeting. Dave Lefebvre's attendance at the meeting was a great morale booster to everyone's spirits.
At the meeting, he presented Coffey Post with an American flag that was flown over Camp Bucca, Iraq on July 4th along with an authentication certificate.
For Lefebvre to take time out to attend a Post 3 meeting with only two weeks leave, was above and beyond the call of duty. The presentation of the American flag to his post made his post members especially proud.
James E. Coffey Post 3 of Nashua has more than 50 members on active duty. Most are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan in the war on terror.
