On Sunday afternoon, Sept. 12, 2004, the American Legion James E. Coffey Post 3, Auxiliary Unit 3, and the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 3, honored their long time members at a reception at the Post 3 home on Court St. in downtown Nashua.  Certificates were presented, the Chorus from the Nashua Senior Activity Center entertained, and a lunch was served.  All enjoyed the festivities, and this reception will now become an annual affair.  Post 3 Senior Vice Commander, Robert Winkler was the Master of Ceremonies.  The following is a list of all the members honored on Sunday and the years that they have been members of Post 3.
