Craig McCullough of Mont Vernon, a freshman at Bishop Guertin High School, won the state championship in the American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest at Bow High School recently.
McCullough, sponsored by James E. Coffey Post 3, Nashua, will represent American Legion District 2 and the state at the national championships at Purdue University from April 12-14. The contest is based on an 8-10 minute memorized speech on some aspect of the US Constitution.
