Peter Lyon (pictured) was elected to head the James E. Coffey Post 3, Nashua for the 1998-1999 term at the regular monthly meeting held on Tuesday, May 4, 1998. At his initiation Commander Lyon addressed those in attendance. "As we all know, most veterans' organizations are are having dwindling membership problems. My motto for this year is (SIGN ONE UP). If each member will sign up ONE new member, then we will retain our membership numbers and be able to carry on."
