Costas Bozicas (pictured) was elected the new commander of the James E. Coffey Post 3 at the regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 6, 1997.
At his initiation ceremony, Bozicas addressed those in attendance. "Congratulations to past commander, James McDowell for an excellent year and to treasurer for 25 years, Andrew LaFlamme, for being voted James E. Coffey Post 3 "Legionnaire of the Year".
I am looking forward to serving as your commander this year, and working with my fellow comrades, to make this post one of the best. A post that not only knows the needs of its veterans, but also knows the needs of its community. The post is a definite asset to the city of Nashua and some of the surrounding communities that it also serves."
