John Lemery was elected commander of James E. Coffey Post 3 at the annual elections held at the post home on Tuesday, 1 May 1990. He served in the Army National Guard of the United States, the Army National Guard of New Hampshire and the Army Reservefrom 1953-1961.  His wife Harriet was also elected to serve as President of the Unit #3 Auxiliary for this year.  They have 9 children, 5 sons and 4 daughters, and 8 grandchildren.
   John is a retired employee of Lockheed Sanders after 31 years of service.  He coached Little League baseball for 3 years and was a Boy Scout leader for 3 years. He is a member of the Nashua Elks club.
