At the 56th Annual NH Convention of the American Legion, James E. Coffey Post 3, Nashua won the following awards:
Department Service Trophy
Awarded annually to that Post excelling in Welfare Work for Veterans of all Wars. Contest closes May 1st.

To be awarded annually to that Post which shall excel in the Community Service work of The American Legion in this Department. Decision to be based upon the Annual Community Service Activity Report. Contest closes May 1st. Award No. 1 -- Posts in towns with population of 4,000 or more; Award No. 2 -- Posts in towns with population of 4,000 or less.
