A special election was held at the regular monthly meeting held at the post on 5 Jun 1973 to elect replacements for Jr. Vice Commander, Alvin Landry and Historian Leo Sirois who tendered their resignations in May. Richard A. McCann was elected Jr. Vice Commander and Royal E. Miller Jr. was elected to be the new Historian.
