Royal E. Miller Jr. and Mrs. Louise Rasmussen were installed as commander and president of the James E. Coffey Post American Legion and Auxiliary respectively.
Installing teams were from District 2 headed by James Dane, commander and Mrs. Lillian Dick, director.

Miller has been a member of the American Legion for 27 years, nine of those with the Coffey Post. He served on numerous committees and has held the posts of adjutant and editor of the Coffee Cup, the Post's monthly newsletter. He is employed at Sanders Associates and resides at 42 Avon Drive with his wife, the former Vera Graf, and four children.
Tomorrow, the annual Coffey Memorial mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church at 10:30 AM to honor the memory of the soldier killed in World War I for whom the post was named. Legionnaires are requested to be at the Post Home at 9:30. Roland Caron, Past Commander, will be the marshall followed by the Coffey Post Color Guard, Coffey Post Band, Post marching unit headed by Commander Miller and Unit 3 Auxiliary led by President Rasmussen.
