Traditional Flag Day flag-burning ceremonies were held Sunday June 15th by the James E. Coffey Post 3, American Legion at the post home. Worn, soiled and faded and torn flags were destroyed after a brief address by Atty. Gerald R. Prunier. Post Commander, Richard J. McDonald, presided as the Legion Color Guard performed the ceremony.
