" New officers of the James E. Coffey post, American Legion, headed by Ray E. Wesson (pictured) as commander, were elected unopposed at the group's , meeting last night.

Wesson will succeed Commander Roger H. Charron who presided. The new officers will assume office following installation ceremonies tomorrow night. The commander-elect is a World War Two Army veteran. He is a former police inspector now on the security staff of Sanders Associates Inc.

New officers for 1962-1963 are:
Commander: Ray E. Wesson.
Senior Vice Commander: Edmund F. Sweeney.
Junior Vice Commander: Roland A. Caron.
Adjutant/Service Officer: A. Charles Lindsay.
Finance Officer: John D. Varney.
Treasurer: Richard J. McDonald.
Chaplain: Cornelius Brosnahan.
Historian: Frederick M. Clemons.
Trustee: Roger H. Charron.
Trust Officer: Robert S. Whitney.
Assistant Trust Officer: Mary H. Sullivan.
Sergeant At Arms: Albert Coffey.
Executive Committee: Paul A. Moran, A. Maurice Bernier, Francis C. O'Neil."

" The post also elected delegates and alternates to the state convention to be held in Nashua.

Delegates: Roger H. Charron , Ray E. Wesson, A. Charles Lindsay PC and president of the convention corporation, Edmund F. Sweeney, Frederick M. Clemons, Roland A. Caron, David P. Stevens, Miss Mary H. Sullivan, John D. Varney, A. Maurice Bernier, Richard J. McDonald.

Alternates include Andrew W. Bernier PC, Albert Coffey, Donald Ellingwood PC, William Mullingan, Francis Lynch, Honore Bouthillier, Aime Auclair PC, John D. Stylianos and Owen Hansbury. The last named is a patient at the Veterans Administration hospital in Manchester, it was reported.

This election was in charge of Stevens as judge and Dr. Thomas J. Prutsalis and Fred Fuller as tellers..."
