Bozek, an inspector with the NH Liquor commission, was unopposed for office. He will succeed Commander Walley F. Estes who conducted the session.

In other business, the group elected delegates and alternates to the state convention to be held in Berlin next month and also made plans to hold this installation of officers jointly with the auxiliary Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. Plans were also made to attend the annual James E. Coffey memorial mass at St. Joseph's church this Sunday at 10 am. The Legion band will lead the march to the church.

Some 100 Legionnaires took part in the yearly election of officers. Prospects of two contests attracted the large attendance. The major race was to have been for the office of senior vice commander with Aime Auclair, present junior vice commander, opposed by Attorney Stanley C. Urban. However, Urban withdrew by saying in part: "I am deeply honored for being nominated but I wish to withdraw. You have a good man in Auclair."

In the only contest of the evening, Donald Ellingwood defeated Frank Conn for the office of junior vice commander. Another new officer is the Rev. Edward J. MacDonald of St. Patrick's church who will serve as post chaplain.
