"Officers of the James E. Coffey Post, American Legion and of the Auxiliary Unit, were installed at an impressive service at the Legion home Thursday night.

District Commander William Auger of Antrim and staff installed the Legion officers and District Director Mrs. Mildred Johnson of Nashua and suite installed the Auxiliary officers.

Dr. Albert G. Coffey (pictured) was installed as commander of the Coffey Post and Miss Olive Coffey, sister of James E. Coffey for whom the Post was named, was installed as president of the Auxiliary Unit.

Following the installation a lunch was served and dancing followed until a late hour.

Officers of the Legion inducted to serve with Commander Coffey, for the coming year were:
Commander: Dr. Albert G. Coffey.
Senior Vice Commander: Adelard Bastille.
Junior Vice Commander: Earl F. Young.
Finance Officer: Everett H. Swett
Treasurer: Edgar Lemire.
Chaplain: Rev. P.C. Gamache.
Historian: David P. Stevens.
Trustee: Joseph W. Brown.
Trust Officer: George M. French.
Sergeant At Arms: Arthur O'Neil.
Executive Committee: Nelson J. Seymour, Andrew Bernier, Dennis Nash....."
