Leo B. Dowd was elected commander of the James E. Coffey Post, American Legion at one of the largest post meetings in some time, at the Legion home last evening. He succeeds Myron S. Walch as head of the Legion Post.
Officers elected include:
Commander: Leo B. Dowd.
Vice Commander: Henry E. Raiche.
Junior Vice Commander: Joseph W. Brown.
Finance Officer: William T. Mulligan.
Chaplain: Rev. Pierre C. Gamache.
Historian: Ernest Bruce.
Sergeant At Arms: Arthur O'Neil.
Trust Officer: George M. French.
Trustee: Myron S. Walch.
Executive Committee: Dr. Albert G. Coffey, Albert Tyler, William A. Smith.
Membership for 1941-1942: 582
The officers will be installed at a joint installation with the Auxiliary and Sons of American legion later this month.
