Myron S. Walch was elected commander of the James E. Coffey Post, American Legion at a largely attended session at the new home last evening.
Officers elected include:
Commander: Myron S. Walch.

Finance Officer: William T. Mulligan.
Chaplain: Rev. Pierre C. Gamache.
Historian: Elwyn C. Hopkins.
Sergeant At Arms: Arthur O'Neil.
Trust Officer: George M. French.
Trustee: Nelson J. Seymour Jr..
Executive Committee: Dr. S.G. Davis, Joseph W. Brown, William A. Smith.

A Joint installation of officers of with the Auxiliary was held on Friday, Oct 25, 1940 at the new Legion home, 11 Court St. Officers were installed by District Vice Commander, Guy Eaton. District Director Mrs. Hazel Howard installed the Auxiliary unit officers. This was one of the events of a four day celebration marking the completion of remodeling of the building. The celebration closes Sunday afternoon with official dedication of the building and formal presentation by Mayor Eugene H. Lemay to Legion officials.
