Tenth Annual Jubilee At Tuxedo Park On Saturday And Sunday

 Everything is in readiness for the Crete American Legion’s tenth annual jubilee crowd expected to run near 15 thousand based on past attendance. The two-day celebration will be staged at Tuxedo Park Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 29. Louis Kerst, chairman of Post 147’s jubilee committee, has announced that outstanding free acts wil be added to the bill of fare this year to insure plenty of entertainment during both days. Legionnaires have been tackling numerous details in preparation for efficient handling of the crowd in insure every one getting the maximum from the shows. Experienced crews will be posted at all points to speed the movement of the crowds. M i d w a y entertainment will be furnished by the Twentieth Century Shows. the new name of midway shows last year. Modernized with striking lighting effects, the billing of the show urges patrons to “watch for the light in the sky.” Fun house, kiddie rides, cuckoo hotel, and newest riding devices in addition to 40 concessions will line their midway. Many local organizations will be on hand at the grounds with concessions to round out the midway features. There will be dancing both Saturday and Sunday evenings in the Tuxedo ball room with popular orchestras furnishing the dance music.
