Tuesday night, March 8, 2016, Bob Wilhelm, Roy Bretthorst, Wilbur DeGolyer, and Bonnie Carlson cooked and served a corned beef and cabbage meal in celebration of the anniversary of the American Legion's creation. The Auxiliary provided dessert. Continuous members of Legion Post #100 and its Auxiliary were honored after the meal.
Auxiliary President Lois Johnson and Secretary Bev Wilhelm presented certificates to Alice Auer, 40 years, Birdean Young, 40 years, Therese Juilfs, 40 years, Shari LaFollette, 40 years, and Lucille Niebuhr, 70 years. Also honored but not present: Rosemary Stubbendeck, 45 years.
