Upon the application of the under signed of veterans, a Charter for a Post of the American Legion in Broadwater County, Montana was granted by the National Association November 19, 1919, to date no organization has been perfected. The purpose of this communication is to advise you that a meeting will be held organizing Broadwater Post, and you are invited to attend and participate therein. This meeting will be called to order at 7 P.M., Christmas night in the County Courthouse in Townsend, Montana. At this meeting the Post will be formally brought into being, its first officers elected and a constitution adopted.
Sooner or later you will join the Legion. Need we urge upon you the advisability of joining at once, of signing up with the gang that put it across? There are 4,800,000 of us. Lets protect Our Country's interests and our own by getting it together. Cards are being sent to all veterans whose addresses are available, however, due to the fact that there is not a complete list of veterans to be had, how many will not receive cards. To those who do not, an invitation is hereby extended to attend and assist in the formation and organization of the Post.
