On July 1st, Barney Cooper, Commander, and J. D. Atkinson, Adjutant, Loy J. Molumby Post 3 of the American Legion, welcomed Troop 255's four members and two adult support members at the Townhouse Inn of Great Falls Montana. "This special ride is being made to support the National America Legion Operation Comfort Warriors program to benefit our American Military Veterans that are here at home and still coming home from tours of duty around the world." Tom Harris, District 1 Commander, American Legion Department of Oregon. Their arrival in Great Falls was end of day 14 of their Bike Trip America which will end August 15th in New York City. Commander Cooper & Adjutant Atkinson had found quarters for the Bikers in a private home four blocks from the Townhouse Inn.
