Post 626 missed a few meetings but kept up as many programs as possible making the appropriate changes for public health and safety. Members reached out to every member that we had a contact for (over 200) offering assistance in any way that was needed. The Commander procured 2,500 masks to be distributed where needed. Things began to get back to normal in early '21 with the availability of the vaccines and it was a nice change to begin to socialize again. We did have several members that we know of go into hospital for COVID related illness, bat as far as I know at this writing (Aug 21), we did not lose any to the disease. But we have many members we do not have regular contact with, so maybe that is wishful thinking. Above - Mar 2020. Cdr Millison begins organizing email and phone campaigns to contact members as well as review upcoming programs for any needed changes and cancellations.
