The North Mercer R-3 School hosted its annual Veterans Day program for area veterans on 10 November, 2022. It was held on 10 November due to not having school on 11 November. There was patriotic music, artwork made by students, a color guard provided by the school FFA, and individual recognition of each veteran in attendance. A full lunch was served after the program.
