A lighting ceremony for Christmas lights on the square was held, art work was displayed in the Community Building/Legion Hall, Santa came to town on a fire engine to hear children's Christmas wishes, and the art work was later auctioned during a silent auction to raise over $1,100 for new playground equipment for the school playground.
