There is now a container in front of the Mercer Legion hall. Anyone who has old, worn American flags that should no longer be displayed may put those flags in the container. They will be properly disposed of by the Legion at a flag retirement ceremony. Old, worn flags can still be dropped off at the North Mercer School during normal hours (usually 8AM to 3:30PM) as well.
