The 17th District held a dedication ceremony on August 31st to rename the HWY 65 bridge over Lake Springfield to the "Missouri Fallen Soldiers Memorial Bridge". Missouri State Senators Jay Wasson and Bob Dixon where in attendance as was MO Dept Adjutant Lowry Finley-Jackson. In all over 100 guest and visitors attended the ceremony held a the Springfield Missouri National Guard Armory followed by a drive over of the newly dedicated bridge.
