"After speaking to you this morning I talked to Richard Moore (He's the WW2 guy who was a tail gunner in a B-17 during the war.) He and his wife owned and lived in the house on the corner south of the post office that had been called the American Legion house. He sold that house to Regina Dixon back in about 1964 and build a house on west hwy 160. He said the building had been a theater in Camp Crowder, so the stage would have been original and not an add on. He remembers the currently legion hall quite well."
