"The American Legion 17th District Department of Missouri is trying to raise funds to have a bridge dedicated to all Soldiers from Missouri who have paid the ultimate price. The bridges under consideration are the old one over Taneycomo or the south bound one on Hwy. 65 over Lake Springfield. To raise the funds necessary, they are holding a raffle. A Mossberg 100 ATR, .270 Win, with 3x9x40 scope and sling will be raffled off on Dec. 9, 2012. The tickets are $10 each or 6 for $50. There are a limited number of tickets available with Post 307 having 15 of them. If you are interested in helping raise funds for this worthwhile cause, contact Adjutant Jerry Witt for tickets and information."
