Woodbury Post 501 Newsletter - May 2020

Post Meetings: Out of concern for the safety of our members that attend Legion meetings & to be in compliance with the Governors guidance we will not be conducting our Post meetings at City Hall due to COVID-19. As of today it looks like we might be able to conduct meetings at City Hall no early then our September meeting.   Our May Post meeting was held through a conference call, which is an opportunity for more of our members to participate.   Take advantage of this opportunity to get involved in the inner workings of your Post.

Member Spotlight: This section is meant to highlight members that exhibit the attributes of the American Legion.  Mike Wimmer is one such member. Mike is a 6 year Legion member who took it upon himself to start a drive to collect masks and delivered to organization(s) most in need.  Let’s have a big virtual round of high fives for Mike.

If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.
