Lake Crystal Legion Charter

Fifteen returned veterans of World War I of the Lake Crystal community met Oct. 10, 1919, in the hall over hall over the Meixell Building to organize an American Legion Post. They convened at the call of Dr. Fred Franchere, who had secured the necessary 15 names in order to apply for a charter. Signing the application for the charter were M.M.
