A. C. Hansen: The Post was named after Pvt. 1st Class A. C. Hansen. He was in Company G 47th Infantry. Born on March 31st, 1896 he died on October 14, 1918, while serving his country in Argonne Forest, France.

Throughout it's many years, Tyler Legion Post 185 has served veterans, community, and country. Dedicated Post members continue to be actively involved in promoting and funding activities that mentor youth, advocate patriotism, with continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.
