Edward B. Cutter Post 102 American Legion, on Aug. 20-21, 2016, was the host to the American Legion Riders 'Kickoff Party', for its first annual Minnesota Legacy Run.

Between 50 and 75 Legion Riders from throughout the state of Minnesota traveled about 1,000 miles across the state to raise funds for the American Legion Legacy Foundation.
The final destination is the National American Legion Convention in Milwaukee on Aug. 27. The goal is to raise $100,000 from the state of Minnesota, and present the funds to the Foundation at the Convention.

The American Legion Legacy Scholarship fund was created to help ensure children who have lost a parent at war receive the education they need and deserve.

The American Legion Riders are among the fund's biggest donors, creating the annual National Legacy Run in 2006.
