Gather Wood For Invalid Veteran--Members ofAmerican Legion Post 102 cut and gathered several loads of wood Saturday and delivered them to the home of an invalid veteran near Martin Lake for use in his wood stove. The family was “very grateful” for receiving the wood, according to Commander Charles Sell. The Legion also has tentative Christmas plans for the family. Robert Dehn donated the wood from his ranch in Grow township. Assisting above are: Bud Westlie, Jerry Raney, Tom Anderson, Dick Sorteberg, Don Rand and Gerald Abeln. Others who helped included Sell, Dehn, Joe Perrin, Clarence Visneski, Howard Menter, Mike Benjo and Bill Olmstead.
