Two Carson City organizations are making plas to help the needy.
Carson City American Legion will give less fortunate children of the community toys, shoes and clothing. Santa Claus will be at the Legion hall Thursday evening, Dec 18 from 6 to 8 o'clock for interviews.
The Carson City Lions club will sponsor "Brooms for the Blind" sale Dec. 19, to raise founds for its program of assistance to the blind and those in need of visual aid. The brooms are manufactured by blind workers at the State Industries plant at Saginaw.
