Carson City Post No. 380, American Legion, at its meeting Monday evening, July 10th, was hosted to a number of visiting service men who were at home on furlough. Among those enjoying the evening were Sgt. Robert McKenna, Cpl. Donnell Barrett, T/5 Williard Bosserman, Pfc. Murden Beck, Pfc Don Russell, Pvt. Frederick Petersen and Seaman 1/c Walter Bissell, Pfc. Bill Ryan returned from Anzio, renewed acquaintances with the home town friends.
This pleasantly spent evening with our servicemen with our servicemen was one that will long be remembered in the annuals of the Post.
