Carson City, Michigan, June 29, 1944
At the meeting of Carson City Post, No. 380, of the American Legion on Monday evening officers were unanimously re-elected to serve for the coming year. They are:
Commander - Frank E. Tabor
1st Vice Commander - William R. Hill
2nd Vice Commander - Albert J. Hartman
Adjutant - Lawson M. Knowles
Treasurer - Lloyd O. Whipple
Chaplain - Guy F. Knepper
Master at Arms - Frank Leon Chaffee
Two new members were added to the Post. Among those present were Arthur Roop, a Naval veteran of the South Pacific and Lt. Robert Hull, stationed at Washington, D.C.
Following the meeting a strawberry festival was enjoyed and was declared to have been a great success.
