Carl Griesmer was elected commander of Frank Wendland Post 253, American Legion. A veteran of World War II and Korea, Griesmer has belonged to the American Legion for 10 years. Chosen to serve with Griesmer were Harry Maxwell, senior vice commander; Jack McCabe, junior vice commander; Claude Baugher, adjutant; Bill Findley, finance officer; Elmer Smith, chaplain; Richard Fletcher, sergeant-at-arms; and John Woodruff, historian.
