Plans are completed for a new American Legion home in Royal Oak, expected to cost about $75,000, which will be erected on the Legion property on Rochester road at Twelve-Mile road. The building will be of cinder block and will contain a 50 by 80 foot auditorium, a 25 by 45 foot club room, store rooms, kitchen and other facilities for members of the Frank Wendland post, No. 253.
