The wedding of Miss Mildred Mabel McLivenna of Albion and Mr. Jesse Frank Campbell of Royal Oak was solemnized, Wednesday afternoon Aug. 31, at 4o'clck at the home of Prof. Henery Ewbank, 419 Cass street, Albion. Rev. Oscar Thomas Olson, former pastor of the Royal Oak Methodist Episcopal church, performed the ceremony. Miss Maxine Elliot was bridesmaid and Harry J. Merritt was bestman. the bride is a graduate of Albion College, class of 1921 and a member of Delta Sigma Rho.The groom, graduated from Royal Oak high school in 1914 and from Albion College in 1919, as a Second Lietenant with a group of Americans assigned to the Royal Flying Corps. Later he was with the 17th U.S.Aero Squadron, with the rank of First Lietenant, and was credited with bringing down three planes and a observer balloon, Capt. Campbell saw action at Belleau Wood, Nancy and Verdun. When Frank Wendland Post 253 was formed in 1920, Capt. Campbell was chosen it's Finance Officer.
