to the efforts of group’s board of directors.
…….. “I pay tribute to Post 149 for its efforts that have resulted in this day,” Flynt noted
in his address to local American Legion officials, who had gathered together for the ceremony.
…….. “It has made me proud to represent an organization which sets forth its responsibilities
and obligation in the spirit of mutual helpfulness for God and Country,” Flynt added. In
appreciation for Commander Flynt’s participation in the ceremony, members of the American
Legion Post presented him with a pair of Wellington boots and the town donated a commemorative
tray.
