.........Commander Harold E. Tower, Jr., presented life membership cards for 50 to 55 years of
continuous membership and consistent loyalty to the American Legion at the annual get-together
of Simeon L. Nickerson Post 64 held March 14 at Legion Headquarter on South Main Street.
Life membership went to Fletcher Clark, Jr., Kenneth B. Keedwell, George I. Dunham and Everett
L. Saunders, all past commanders.

Herman H. Fuller, John T. Gilfoy , Sr., Norman Guidoboni, John W. Halahan, Sr., Ralph B.
Mendall, Raymond A. Nourse, Timothy E. Leary, Jr., and Kenneth Maker.
..........Other life membership recipients include: Manuel M. Rose, Albert F. Soule, Ernest E. Thomas,
Gideon Fortin, Freedman E. Taylor, Elwin H. Norris, Frank E. Minott and William J. McMahon, Sr.
Awarded life memberships for outstanding work in the American Legion were John T. Gilfoy, Jr.,
Henry N. Junior, William J. McMahon, Jr., Arthur E. Pratt and John D. Rockwell, Jr., past
commanders.
...........Citations for meritorious service were awarded to Mr. Junior for his work at the ward parties
at Brockton Veterans Hospital and Francis McCausland for his work in the poppy and fund drives.
