The first Post 4 home was located at 160 Main Street, in Haverhill, (across from the current City Hall). The building was sold in 1985, however, it still bears the name "Legion Building". The Clement Farm, was deeded and recorded on March 19th, 1930, and granted to Wilbur M. Comeau Post 4, American Legion, Inc., for a period of 50 years. The Clement Farm was to then pass to its successor, the City of Haverhill. Restrictions in the deed are that the property must be used as a public park, playground or recreation area.
