2020-10-06. Post 307 member Mickey Giovingo arrived at Algiers Point (across from the New Orleans French Quarter) after a solo cruise down the Mighty Mississippi River. Total distance covered was approximately 2,318 miles. Purpose of the trip was to raise awareness for Patriot Assistance Dogs. Patriot Assistance dogs is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs, then training them as service dogs for Veterans who struggle with disabilities
