During the 2021 American Legion Department of Louisiana (State-level) Convention held in Alexandria from June 17-20, Officer Eduardo Mendoza (left) of the Jennings Police Department was recognized at the 2020-2021 Department of Louisiana (State-level) Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. Mendoza was nominated for the Award by Post 19 from Jennings and by the Department of Louisiana 7th District.
