Post 19 has submitted its Post Scrapbook to Department of Louisiana Headquarters for consideration for Department-level awards. The Post received the 1st place award for its scrapbook on June 8, 2013. For 2013, 2014 and 2015, Department Headquarters presented 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards in the scrapbook category. In 2016, only the 1st place scrapbook received an award. Our Post has fared very well in this category:
2013 - 1st Place;
2014 - 3rd Place;
2015 - 2nd Place.
The Post will continue to produce a scrapbook each year in order to chronicle the Post’s activities. The scrapbooks will provide information for our Post Historian to perform updates to our Post History.
Any State-Level Awards presented to the Post for its scrapbooks after 2015 will be reported in timeline articles which are part of Post 19's history.
