On August 10, 2012 the Post coordinated with Police Chief Todd D'Albor of the Jennings Police Department in order to allow Post 19 to sponsor the Police Officer of the Year Award for the city of Jennings. The award recipient would then be nominated by the Post for Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Awards at 7th District, Department (State-level) and National level. The following Police Officers have been recognized over the years since 2012:

2012 - Michael P. Hill (also won at 7th District)

2015 - Shelly Ann Roberts (also won at 7th District)

2018 - Donald W Conner (also won at 7th District level).

2021 - Ryan Keith Courville.

The photo above shows Corporal Shelly Ann Roberts, 2015 Police Officer of the Year for the Jennings Police Department. Corporal Roberts, who has since been promoted to Sergeant, was also selected as the Department of Louisiana 7th District Law enforcement Officer of the Year.
