The chaplain of American Legion Abraham Lincoln Post 167 in Bardstown has been re-appointed to serve on a state board. Governor Steve Beshear has re-appointed Sidney C. Shouse to the Advisory Board for Veterans’ Affairs to serve for a term expiring September 25, 2016. Shouse, of Bardstown, works for the United States Postal Service. He represents the American Legion and is pictured here at Monday’s Memorial Day service.
